The Monarch Butterfly is slated to be listed on the endangered species list in December 2020.
The Monarch population has declined 90% in recent years. 
These little beauties are more than just a sight for sore eyes, they help sustain our environment. 
We are joining in the effort to save them because we care about the communities we serve! 
Our community includes farmers, businesses, and families that rely heavily on pollinators. We invite you to join us in saving the monarchs!

Barron Electric Cooperative and Nuto Farms have joined together to plant a ten acre garden to attract butterflies and help decrease the decline in the Monarch population. Nuto Farms donated the land and labor, while both Nuto Farms and Barron Electric purchased the seed which consisted of wildflowers and milkweed.
